Healing Jewelry: The Influence of Jewelry on Wellbeing and Happiness
October 20, 2008
Over the past twenty-five years, much has been written about the influence of gemstones and crystals on physical and emotional well-being. More and more therapists are using amethyst, rose quartz, emerald, and other precious and semi-precious stones–placing them on the chakras, applying them in a modern form of gemstone acupuncture, or simply recommending they be placed in an appropriate spot within the home. Little, however, has been published on the healing influence of the most common use of gemstones–jewelry.
People have always worn jewelry. We find it in excavation sites of archaic cultures. However, it was not worn only as decoration or as a symbol of wealth and power. People felt jewelry enhanced their life energy; it made them more mentally and spiritually alert. They also felt it could ward off negative influences.
Today almost everyone wears some kind of jewelry, often without thinking about what the rings, necklaces, earrings, and other pieces might be doing to them over time. The author documents symptoms of diseases that stretch across generations (through inheritance) and gives valuable advice on cleansing jewelry of such unwanted effects. We have to re-learn to use jewelry in an appropriate and beneficial way.
Readers will come away from this book with a clear understanding of which pieces of jewelry to wear themselves, and which to give to others, to experience a significant increase in the quality of life. Buy from here…
